back on the green!!

you would think that after paddling the most amazing whitewater for a month in chile, i would not miss the green river so much. and even while i was there i can remember saying that i really missed the green. i don't know what it is about that river but i truly missed paddling it.

after a quick stop in asheville to get my new biss-stick mystic, it was off to enjoy a nice sunny 50 degree paddle on the green with adam, isaiah and spencer. i was a little nervous since i hadn't been on the green in 2 months and i was paddling a new boat but after the short warmup section i was good to go. my mystic handled smoothly, stable and is super comfy. it was like i had always paddled it. the level was about 11.5 inches and the water was beautiful.

damn it feels good to be back.
